Christian Weber joined the Chair of Mobile Business & Multilateral Security at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt/Main (Germany) in 2009, as research and teaching assistant. After more than 15 successful years in different Management positions as CIO/CTO, Managing Director, Director Technology and Communication D/A/CH, Senior Management Consultant, and Entrepreneur with Companies like SemiGator AG, Citibank AG, R&V Versicherung AG, Sophos GmbH, Compass Deutschland GmbH, Netop Tech GmbH, webITsec, he took the opportunity to go back to University for PhD level research and teaching.

Christian Weber holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) with main specializations in Energy Management and Industrial Electronics from the University of Applied Sciences at Wiesbaden (Germany) and an Executive Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Joint Executive MBA-Program of Johannes Gutenberg-University at Mainz (Germany), McCombs School of Business at University of Texas at Austin (USA), Dongbei University of Finance and Economics at Dalian (PR China) and Adelaide Graduate School of Business (Australia) with a main specialisation in General and Entrepreneurial Management.
