Dipl.-Inf. Gökhan Bal

Gökhan Bal holds a diploma in Computer Science (Dipl.-Inf.) from Goethe University Frankfurt. He focused his studies on Information Security, Computer Networks, and Distributed Systems. He prepared his diploma thesis about enhancing web browser privacy by exploiting Trusted Computing (TCG) capabilities at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology in Darmstadt. His further experiences include software development and IT consulting. Since June 2009, he works as Teaching & Research Assistant at the Chair of Mobile Business & Multilateral Security at Goethe University Frankfurt, focusing his Ph.D. research on privacy-friendly and transparent information flows on Internet-enabled mobile platforms.
