Curriculum Vitae Markus Tschersich studied business informatics at the University of Duisburg- Essen in Essen (Germany) between 2003 and 2008. In his studies he focused on e-business and e-entrepreneurship, software- and web-development as well as user machine interaction and interface engineering. In 2007 he made an internship at EFQUEL and was involved in the first phase of VISuM a mobile navigation solution for blind and visually impaired humans. As part of another project at the university he focussed on development of user interfaces of multi-touch tables and examined their added value in the visualization of software design. In his diploma thesis he analysed mobile communities to identify their factors of success. Since September 2008, he works as a research and teaching assistant at the chair of Mobile Business & Multilateral Security at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (Germany). He was involved in the European Union funded FP7 research project PICOS until June 2011. In his Phd thesis he focuses on conducting design guidelines for mobile group recommender systems to handle inaccurate or missing location data. |
